HAPPY BIRTHDAY MWAM

MWAMVITA MAKAMBA
we have known each other for over a decade, and being a fellow Gemini, we are birds of feathers who flock together.

much has been written about this phenomenally fine woman, by various people but today i shall let u know a part which many may not know.

She has been a regular front row during all the  fashion week since the time it started in 2008.
i can attribute to her zeal and zen in the power of belief in SFW that today she had a pivotal role in making SFW to where it is today.

FLASHBACK 2009, AFTER our first edition in 2008, and having gone through the typical "conmenship" and lost not only the millions but also the energy, She believed in me and pushed me to continue. in fact played even a pivotal role as being an associate sponsor to the fashion week through her company that year. that gave us the the perseverance to continue and today we are who we are, through that one of act of "simply believing in people capabilities" that's mwamvita for us.

FAST FORWARD: The first day of fashion week 2011, in the eyes of the public all seemed well, but in my eyes, thing were just not what i had envisioned, one drama, after another. one crisis managed another pops up . Then you start questioning , why why why???? and there i am holed up in my room highly depressed yet frustrated and a fon cal rings.... that's MWAMVITA... telephony or wat you may say but for over an hour she talks to me and positively gives me that push and gives a different direction to perspectives in life. in short....its like recharging your fon battery, fully charged and big smile, i came out of my misery and attended the  first day of the fashion week which i had already planned not to. the 2011 was the most successful ever, with over 50 designers of which 18 were from outside Tanzania

So this has been the lengthiest i may have ever blogged, and nothing less to be expected for a women i can proudly call my friend but more my confidante MWAMVITA MAKAMBA.
